I tried to grow a pretty good sized garden this year. It has been out of production for several years. I worked in town, 65 miles away, for about the last 6 years. I wasn't home much to grow and maintain a garden during those years.

I really enjoy seeing the plants produce and preserving the vegetables for winter.
Over the labor day weekend my daughter, Kori, came home and was able to help a little with the garden. We had quite a load that morning to haul up to the house.
 I even got a little extra work out of her.. |

All of the kids are grown up and on their own now. It is always fun to get a visit from them.
