HELPERS

Yesterday Penny and I had visitors.  My niece and nephew came over,  They were fun play mates for Penny and good help for me.

Penny loves the kids.  Her idea of playing might be a little mixed up.  She likes to take a toy and go hide with it.  She sat with them to watch a movie. My niece thinks her breathing is loud and is always telling her to shhh.

The kids helped me peel a bunch of apples for apple butter.  Then it was time to do chores.

My horses Jewell and Annie loved the apples and special attention.  

They helped feed all of the horses hay.  Jewell wanted to be fed by hand.

We had to take a little break and jump off the hay. 

We moved on to feed the goats.

We fed the chickens and looked for eggs. 

We picked goodies from the garden.

 Then we topped off the visit with a little nail polishing. 

Penny and I look forward to their next visit.
