Things don't always go as planned. For example, our cows and neighbors' cows mix sometimes. So today we went to straighten things out and fix fence.
Our local sheriff came to help us out.
The fence was down at a water hole that is shared by us and two neighbors.
We fixed the fence as best we could. It was a muddy job.
Our oldest son Ryan came home for a few days and helped out.
We took the cows up to the the water that is hauled in for them. It is a lot better. Not so muddy.
Our cowboys have some beautiful horses.
On the way home we checked on another water spot. It is a buried tank that is filled from a water truck then flows into a trough for the cows to drink. It wasn't flowing well so we had to get it working.
I watched the three guys try to solve the problem.
I know I have mentioned before how hard it is to keep the cows watered. We don't have many places with natural water.
A couple of cool dust devils I saw.
We got things straightened out and watered some cows, not a bad day.
