I bit the bullet and bought a new camera. Not a huge expensive one, but defiantly an upgrade from the phone. I will still use the phone often however, because that is what I can carry while working.
Last week we took a little trail ride up the Mountain. I am still learning how to use the new camera, but got some pretty good shots. Dave's sister was visiting and went with us. I enjoyed listening them tell stories of when they were kids and the time they spent on the mountain.
We saw several elk and heard one bugle.
We took a picnic and let the horses have one as well.
We had a really good time.
While Chris visited we also went on a little family picnic at the Wheeler peak campground. We didn't hike due to rain. I got a few pictures of the kids though.

The other day Dave and I went up Horse Canyon. Remember the pipeline work? This pipe was high on this rock, they used a ladder to bolt it in. A lot of sand has washed down the canyon since then.
I played with my camera a little.
I do have a lot of fun taking pictures.
