The day after we took the cows over the hills and across the valley, we had to check on their water situation and move some of the cows to another watering place. This is one of the water troughs we checked out. The water is piped from the ranch down in the bottom of the valley up to this tank and across to other troughs.

This is a cool old watering trough that waters cows and sheep.

The water problem didn't appear to be here. The pipeline runs from here to several other troughs. There must be a kink or a leak in it somewhere along the way. A job for another day.
